the death of my ipod

I have had my ipod for a few years now and it was always a piece of junk. Last night it finally bit the dust...haha The battery would never stay charged and I pretty much didnt like using it...it reminded me of my first computer back in the day...an apple with no color whatsoever. Now I am in the hunt for a new mp3 player and I will probably go for an Ipod video or maybe just a little shuffle, I dunno yet. I am using jason's old shuffle right now, its big and awkward but I liked using it more than I did my own. I got jason a new one for his birthday, its a samsung and its pretty nice. oh well...

My Life...

I have felt so weird lately, like something not so great is going to happen but it has also made me think about all the wonderful things that I have in my life. I have wonderful parents, sister, husband and I would say an overall great family. I have been fortunate to own a pretty nice home, have a good education, have a decent job and be married to someone who is pretty much great at everything he does. Jason is really different than he used to be and that is a good thing. He started out pretty good but as he has gotten older he has matured enough to where he is an adult but at the same time acts like a kid. He has a good job and I am proud of him for moving up in his company so fast. We have been very fortunate to be able to do the things that we do. We have been to a lot of great places and met a lot of great people. We thought that we may be meeting a little person of our own in a few months but it looks like that isn't going to happen which is fine with the both of us but also a little disapointing. It does mean we can live our selfish lives for a little longer though.

Pootie's Trip to the Vet

During the week that Jason and I were off at Christmas...all our cat Pootie Tang would do would be to lay on us or beside us....anyway, we thought she may be sick or something cause she is really finicky and tempramental. A few years ago she got a urinary tract infection and at the end of last week we noticed a LOT of litter outside the litter box so we decided to watch her and sure enough she was running in and out.....Not half as bad as the first time she was sick though which was good.....I wanted to get her into the vet as soon as possible but Saturday was booked and I took her tonight....She was sooooooo good on the car ride and during the wait in the exam room. She also has another urinary tract infection....blood in her urine and all that. The vet gave her a shot and some pills we have to give her every 12 hours.....I was so proud of my little Pootie during her little ordeal. We gave her her first pill a few mins ago and she was not happy lol....and our Scottie is feeling a little left out...she is eating all Poot's special food (low magnesium...usually 9 a bag but we got a brand that was only 1.50!) Hopefully Pootie will be perfectly fine in a few days.... :)
